This week at Milano Unica, Roica, a high-tech stretch fiber made by Asahi Kasei, a Japanese company, is showing their most recent sustainable textile developments. Tencel by Lenzing and Roica have strengthened their cooperation. The partnership, which started in March, offers cutting-edge and environmentally friendly collections with the goal of advancing a circular approach within the textile sector.

Three new collections that reflect the “next generation of wardrobe” were highlighted during the July 9–11 event. Brugnoli’s Yogatime collection highlighted the fibers in performance fabrics; Maglificio Maggia’s De Rerum Natura presented Tencel-Roica fibers in textiles used in fashion garments; and Maglificio Rippa unveiled the Eco Proposals line for the lingerie industry.

The sales manager at Maglificio Ripa, Luca Olivini, stressed the significance of using the appropriate raw materials in order to attain transparency and sustainability. At Milano Unica, the business unveiled Eco 202AX and Eco 373AC, two new products that mix Tencel lyocell with Roica V550 and have a soft hand feel ideal for base- layers and stylish undergarments. These innovative textiles blend the technical qualities of Roica with the warm qualities of Tencel, making them lightweight and slightly transparent.
