Technotex 2023: Envisioning Indian Technical Textiles@ 2047

This premier event is being put on by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, in partnership with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry to promote technical textiles, which include textiles used for specific applications such as medical, defence, industrial, agricultural, automotive, building, packaging, etc.The inaugural Technotex took place in 2011, and this year marks the mega-tenth event’s anniversary. It will be the largest to date and the first in physical mode following Covid.

B2B (international, domestic, and institutional), exhibition, conference, seminars, CEO’s forum, Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM), high level roundtables, investor discussions, and country and state sessions will all be included in Technotex2023.

Dignitaries from many different countries and state governments participate. Being the host state, Maharashtra The Partner States for the event are Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. Also, the show will include 250+ customers from 30+ countries, including Taiwan, Germany, Switzerland, Guinea (South Africa), South Korea, Russia, and Luxembourg, as well as 150+ Technical Textiles exhibitors.

In order to discuss the future of the Indian technical textiles industry, the event will bring together CEOs, senior industry representatives, Ministries and Departments of the Central & State Governments, user industries, and specialists under one roof. In order to demonstrate the enormous potential for trade and investment between India and other nations in the technical textile sector, Technotex 2023 will be helpful. Since that India is now the G-20’s presidency, the gathering would be a fantastic occasion to build our global connections in the technical textiles sector.

The market for technical textiles in India is now the fifth largest in the world and is expected to reach USD 22.5 billion in 2021–22. In India, the growth of technical textiles has accelerated significantly during the last five years, expanding at a rate of 9–10% annually.With the wide range of applications for technical textile products and the current global market dynamics, this emerging sector in India has enormous potential.
