A Gateway To The World Is Now Open At Uttar Pradesh

The GIS has finally arrived in Uttar Pradesh. This was a much-awaited summit which began today. Around 23 union ministers which includes Rajnath Singh , home minister Amit Shah, and many foreign delegates that will participate in 30 technical rounds in various sectors such as animal husbandary, IT, health, aviation, media and entertainment, energy, manufacturing and defense.

The Reliance industries, Mahindra industries, Aditya Birla Group, Tata Sons will be representing India. The target is to get Rs.10 lakh crore through the investors. Already, Rs.27 lakh crore has ben received from 18,000 investors. This will help in creating 2 crore direct and indirect jobs in the state. Till Thursday, the government had recieved around 18,477 investments from which 17,702 has already been converted to MoUs.

In India alone, the ministrial delegations have received investment of Rs.10 lakh crore. The state has also revamped 25 sectoral policies which offer subsideries, grants, land, etc. This will be investor-friendly. For this, Nivesh Sarathi portal is set up for the signing of the MoU’s online and offline tracking. This will ensure the quick implementation. This will be one of a kind event where investors can attend the event through online mode as well.

An investment of Rs.4.28 crore is allotted for IT & Electorninc Management, Manufactring and Tourism. In the 3 day event, there are 300 projects which are Rs1.20 lakh crore which are grounded. Around 75% of the MoUs signed in 2018 and also implemented on ground.

Investors from US, UK, Australia, South Korea, Japan, UAE, Netherlands will be present in the Indian diaspora. Drone show, cultural programme has also been planned.
