Imogo Advances Dye-Max Technology Ahead of ITMA Asia Singapore

Sweden’s imogo accelerates global rollout with new partners, showroom, and successful Dye-Max installations.
Imogo is set to make a strong statement at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025 in Singapore following major developments including a new strategic collaboration, a fully operational showroom in Sweden, and a successful Dye-Max installation for an H&M supplier in Bangladesh.
Sweden-based imogo is gearing up for a strong presence at ITMA Asia + CITME in Singapore (October 28–31), following a series of notable milestones—including a new strategic partnership, the launch of its Swedish showroom, and the successful commissioning of a Dye-Max spray dyeing unit for an important H&M supplier in Bangladesh.
The Dye-Max system delivers major reductions in resource consumption when compared to traditional jet dyeing. The technology utilises multiple spray cassettes equipped with precision nozzles for uniform application, supported by a patented pro-speed valve that regulates the exact volume required.
“The Dye-Max’s significant water savings come from its extremely low liquor ratio of just 0.5 litres per kilo of fabric,” says Christian Moore, executive partner and board member at imogo. “This reduced liquor level and the spray-based process demand far less auxiliary chemistry, all of which is consumed in the operation. This leads to a substantial reduction in wastewater, requiring only 20 litres for rinsing during changeovers. The minimal liquid retained in the fabric also lowers the energy needed for fixation, while still achieving industry-grade quality and maintaining strong fabric performance.”
The Dye-Max integrates seamlessly with existing dyehouse infrastructure and uses conventional dyes that can be applied at room temperature.
Strong Support from Blåkläder
Alongside ACG Kinna—its stand partner in Singapore (Hall 6, Stand D106)—imogo has secured backing from leading Swedish workwear manufacturer Blåkläder.
Blåkläder operates wholly owned factories in Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Bangladesh, employs over 8,000 people, and generates an annual turnover of SEK 2.7 billion. The brand already employs dope dyeing for its polyester production to minimise resource use, and imogo’s technology enables similar sustainability benefits for natural fibres such as cotton, viscose, and linen.
“Since the bulk of a garment’s environmental impact occurs during manufacturing, it is essential toadvance methods that reduce resource consumption,” says Anders Carlsson, Managing Director of Blåkläder. “Imogo’s revolutionary technology tackles several of the industry’s most pressing sustainability issues, and we naturally want to support that.
“Ninety percent of the fabrics we use originate from just ten carefully selected textile producers, and our long-term, trust-driven partnerships with them allow us to influence sustainable practices across the value chain.”
New Demonstration Facility in Sweden
Imogo has also opened its new showroom and test centre at the 7H Färgeri dyehouse in Kinnahult, Sweden. The space is now available for technology demonstrations, hands-on trials, and industry visits.
“With this showroom, we aim to establish a platform that fosters dialogue and collaboration with brands, textile manufacturers, and research institutions,” says CEO Joacim Wellander. “Visitors can observe the system in action, grasp the commercial value, and explore how innovation can reshape their operations.”
The centre also functions as a knowledge hub, enabling technical training, application testing, and co-development initiatives.
Chorka Textile Installation
In Bangladesh, imogo has completed the installation of a Dye-Max system at Chorka Textile as part of H&M’s Green Fashion Initiative to empower its key manufacturing partners.
“Our team executed the installation, and high-quality output was achieved rapidly,” says Christian Moore. “This project demonstrates that our technology is fully prepared for global scale after extensive refinement. Operating in Bangladesh has taught us valuable lessons, and we look forward to discussing new opportunities with mills worldwide during the Singapore exhibition.”
