Iluna Group Unveils AW 2027/2028 Lace Innovations Ahead of Milano Unica 43

Company introduces new creative themes, bio-based smart lace developments and sustainability initiatives at Milano Unica 43 in Milan.

Iluna Group is set to participate in the 43rd edition of Milano Unica, scheduled from July 7–9, 2026, at Fiera Milano Rho, Milan, Italy, where it will exhibit in Hall 5, Booth D26. The company will showcase its creative concepts for the Autumn/Winter 2027/2028 season alongside new developments in lace technology and sustainability.

Three Creative Themes for AW 2027/2028

For the Autumn/Winter 2027/2028 season, Iluna Group presents three creative themes exploring different expressions of femininity.

Whispers of Romance draws inspiration from the elegance of Versailles and Marie Antoinette, presenting a contemporary interpretation of romance. The collection features a palette of ivory, blush, pale pink and pearl.

Nature’s Embrace focuses on a connection with nature through shades of gray, sage green, sand, petal pink and deep green, reflecting calm landscapes and understated elegance.

Opulent Soul explores luxury through light, texture and transparency, using colours including gold, red, burgundy, peacock blue and deep greens.

Smart Lace Developments

The company will also present its PX052, PX053 and PX054 lace articles, produced using bio-based materials including EVO® by Fulgar polyamide and ROICA™ V550 elastane, together with Lurex and dope-dyed Viscose.

The fabrics are designed for applications including apparel, shirting, lingerie, outerwear and beachwear. According to the company, the stretch fabrics offer a soft hand feel while providing wrinkle-free, rainproof and superfine characteristics.

EVO® by Fulgar is described as a 100% bio-based yarn produced from renewable sources including castor oil and industrial corn. The material is intended for multiple textile applications and offers lightweight, breathable, quick-drying and stretch properties, along with thermal performance and natural odour control.

ROICA™ V550, developed by Asahi Kasei, is a degradable stretch fibre that partially degrades under ISO 14855-1, tested by OWS. It is also described as the world's first Cradle to Cradle-Certified™ elastane yarn with a Material Health Gold Level Certificate.

Website Update and Sustainability Initiatives

Iluna Group has also introduced an updated corporate website with revised design and content to reflect the company's current identity and service offering.

Since 2018, the company has been GRS certified for its Green Label range. According to Iluna Group, the collection combines innovation, aesthetics and quality while providing traceability throughout the production chain and monitoring sustainability performance through the Higg Index.

The company also stated that during 2025, it saved approximately 1,000,000 litres of water through the use of recycled fibres, which require around 40% less water than conventional fibres.
