The International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC) has postponed its 83rd Plenary Meeting, initially set to take place in Mwanza, Tanzania, from November 17–20, 2025.

The International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC) has officially announced the postponement of its 83rd Plenary Meeting, which was originally scheduled to be held in Mwanza, Tanzania, from November 17 to 20, 2025. The decision comes in response to unforeseen circumstances linked to recent developments in Tanzania.

The recommendation to delay the event was made by Tanzania, with ICAC emphasizing that the move was driven by precautionary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of all delegates and participants. The organization is currently reviewing alternative arrangements and will release updated details regarding the new dates and venue in due course.

In addition, ICAC has assured registered participants that all paid registration fees will be refunded promptly.
