Innovation, sustainability, and collaboration take center stage at Hygienix™ 2025.

Hygienix™ 2025 united global hygiene leaders to spotlight breakthrough innovations, sustainable product development, and collaborative progress in absorbent hygiene materials and technologies. Confitex Technology earned the 2025 Innovation Award for its pioneering washable nonwoven sanitary pads.

The 11th edition of Hygienix™ 2025 gathered hundreds of global leaders from the absorbent hygiene and personal care sectors to discuss the latest developments in innovation, sustainability, and market collaboration. Held from November 17–20 in Orlando, Florida, the event highlighted breakthrough technologies shaping the future of nonwovens and absorbent products.

INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, announced Confitex Technology as the winner of the 2025 Hygienix™ Innovation Award™ for its pioneering Washable Nonwoven Sanitary Pads, an achievement that underscores exceptional progress in sustainable absorbent hygiene solutions.

Confitex Technology – Washable Nonwoven Sanitary Pads
Confitex has developed the world’s first washable nonwoven sanitary pads that eliminate the use of SAPs, opening a new category of reusable absorbent hygiene products. As environmental expectations rise among regulators, retailers, and consumers, this innovation aligns durability with sustainability. The company aims to reduce global landfill impact while expanding scalable reusable product options for the hygiene industry.

Finalists Dukane – Curved Leg Elastic (CLE) and ZymoChem – BAYSE™ were also honored for their contributions toward improved performance, sustainability, and consumer comfort.

Program Themes and Technical Insights

The conference delivered an in-depth technical agenda, supported by Pre-Conference Workshops on absorption systems, menstrual care innovation, and infant care market dynamics.

Key topics included:

  • Circularity and sustainable materials such as bio-based fibers, PFAS-free solutions, and flushable packaging.
  • Regulatory, testing, and consumer drivers influencing hygiene product development.
  • New applications across pet care, dermatology-friendly products, and private label advancements.
