Trade show to focus on contemporary design, sustainability and evolving home market trends

The 19th edition of HGH India will take place from June 30 to July 3, 2026, at the Bombay Exhibition Center (BEC), Mumbai. The event will bring together stakeholders from across the home textiles, décor, furniture, and houseware sectors to explore trends, innovations, and business opportunities.

The 19th edition of HGH India, an annual trade show covering home textiles, home décor, home furniture, houseware, and gifts, is scheduled to be held in Mumbai from June 30 to July 3, 2026, at the Bombay Exhibition Center (BEC). Over its previous eighteen editions, the event has served as a platform for sourcing, industry discussions, and design exploration within the home products sector.

This edition will centre on three themes: Contemporary, Futuristic, and Sustainable, reflecting changing consumer preferences for design, functionality, and responsible production.

The event is expected to bring together Indian and international brands, manufacturers, importers, distributors, retailers, architects, interior designers, and institutional buyers. The previous edition featured over 700 brands and manufacturers from 32 countries and recorded more than 43,000 trade visitors from 710 cities and towns across India. Participation is expected to increase in the upcoming edition.

Organised by Texzone, which has over 40 years of experience in market development, knowledge sharing, trend forecasting, retail engagement, and product intelligence across textiles, fashion, home, and lifestyle sectors, HGH India continues to serve as a meeting point for industry stakeholders.

Mr. Arun Roongta, Managing Director, Texzone Information Services, said, “Over 18 editions, we have watched the Indian home market go through cycles of aspiration, disruption, and reinvention. What is different now is the scale and the geography of the shift. The consumer driving growth today is not in Mumbai or Delhi. They are in 700 cities and towns across the country, upgrading their homes with the same intent and the same discernment as any metro buyer. HGH India 2026 is built around that reality. The products on this floor, the conversations in our knowledge sessions, and the connections made across our pavilions are all designed for the industry that is serving this India."

The event will feature multiple segments and pavilions. The PreSense Trends Pavilion will present Home Fashion Trends for 2026-27 under themes including Manchala Mind, Sun Woven, Kala Sangam, and Colour Wave, focusing on colours, materials, and design directions.

The Smart Kitchen pavilion will showcase IoT-enabled appliances, AI-powered voice assistants, and space-saving kitchen solutions. The Technical Textiles section will include products such as flame-retardant furnishings, blackout curtains, skin-nourishing bed sheets, and washable rugs, with the segment projected to reach USD 50 billion by 2028.

The Home Furniture Hall will display products across categories including living, bedroom, kitchen, study, kids, and outdoor furniture. The Indian Heritage Pavilion, supported by the Development Commissioner Handicrafts, Development Commissioner Handloom, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, and other government bodies, will connect artisans and producers with buyers and include live craft demonstrations.

The Kids’ Home segment will focus on baby and children’s home products, a category growing at 20% per annum. HGH India Interactive sessions will include panel discussions and presentations on consumer trends, retail innovation, e-commerce, product design, supply chains, and sustainability.

The H-Circle Product Innovation Awards will recognise exhibitors across categories such as home textiles, décor, furniture, and housewares for innovation in design, functionality, sustainability, and commercial viability, with entries evaluated by a five-member independent jury.
