HeiQ and Archroma Receive ITMF International Collaboration Award 2026
Partnership recognised for expanding access to antimicrobial and odour-control textile technologies
HeiQ and Archroma have received the ITMF International Collaboration Award 2026 for their partnership focused on advancing innovation, sustainability and competitiveness across the global textile industry.
The award recognises the collaboration between the two companies in bringing antimicrobial and odour-control technologies to textile manufacturers, brands and retailers worldwide. The partnership combines HeiQ’s material technology expertise with Archroma’s global commercial and technical platform.
Partnership Focuses on Scaling Textile Technologies
HeiQ specialises in high-performance and sustainable material technologies, while Archroma provides a worldwide commercial and technical network. Through their collaboration, the companies aim to make functional textile technologies more accessible to textile mills and brands across international markets.
The partnership has focused on scaling technologies through a combination of technical expertise, global distribution and support for implementation across the textile value chain.

Focus on Odour Control and Antimicrobial Solutions
Since establishing their co-marketing and global distribution partnership, HeiQ and Archroma have worked to make odour-control and antimicrobial solutions available across the textile value chain.
The collaboration provides textile mills with implementation support, global technical assistance, compliance-ready solutions and access to technologies designed to support durability, freshness and responsible manufacturing.
One of the technologies included in the collaboration is HeiQ Mint, a bio-based, non-biocidal odour-control technology. It captures odour molecules and releases them during laundering, helping garments remain fresher for longer while reducing washing frequency.
The technology is designed to contribute to lower water, energy and detergent consumption, while also supporting wearer comfort and garment longevity.
ITMF International Collaboration Award
The International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) is an international forum for the global textile industries. Founded in 1904, the organisation provides its worldwide membership with information through surveys, studies and publications.
The 2026 International Collaboration Award recognises the HeiQ-Archroma partnership and its work in making textile technologies available across global markets.
