Heimtextil is set to broaden its global interior design and contract textiles offering through a new partnership with Hospitality Interiors Europe (HINT), beginning in 2027. Announced in Frankfurt, the collaboration will introduce a parallel format alongside Heimtextil that focuses on high-end hospitality and contract interiors, bringing together decision-makers from architecture, interior design, project development, and the wider hospitality sector.

As part of the partnership, Hospitality Interiors Europe will be launched as a dedicated event running alongside Heimtextil 2027. The format is designed to serve the international hospitality and contract interiors market, with a specific focus on hotels, resorts, wellness and spa facilities, extended-stay properties, and care environments. The new platform will be staged in its own hall and will present curated design concepts tailored to premium hospitality settings.

Heimtextil, known for its international reach and expertise in textiles, materials, and interior design, will expand its holistic offering through this collaboration. Hospitality Interiors Europe complements this with a specialised focus on hospitality applications, providing context-driven product showcases and design solutions for contract environments. The partnership reflects the growing importance of hospitality and contract interiors as key growth areas within the global textile industry.

The event is organised by Strive Exhibitions, led by founders Toby Walters and Sam Murray, who are also behind the Cruise Ship Interiors Expo. Their involvement brings an established international network and sector-specific experience to the partnership.

According to Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textiles & Textile Technologies at Messe Frankfurt, the collaboration strengthens Heimtextil’s contract business positioning. He noted that textiles play a central role in shaping guest experience and interior design outcomes, and that the partnership expands opportunities for architects, interior designers, and project developers working in hospitality-focused projects.

Hospitality Interiors Europe will also feature a curated congress programme, bringing together international experts to discuss key trends, innovations, and project developments in hospitality design. Alongside product presentations, the platform will encourage industry exchange and networking among decision-makers from across the global contract interiors sector.

Toby Walters, CEO of Strive Exhibitions, stated that the launch of Hospitality Interiors Europe in Frankfurt aims to create a global meeting point for the hospitality design community. The partnership with Heimtextil is expected to provide expanded access to products, ideas, and collaboration opportunities for designers, suppliers, operators, and developers across multiple hospitality segments.

The collaboration begins ahead of the official launch, with Hospitality Interiors Europe already participating at Heimtextil 2026 through a dedicated lounge area. This space allows visitors and exhibitors to engage with the new format and gain early insights into the upcoming partnership.

Heimtextil 2026 takes place from 13 to 16 January 2026 in Frankfurt.
