New integration bridges digital and physical traceability for material authenticity.

Haelixa and TextileGenesis have joined forces to integrate forensic DNA proof into digital supply chain systems, creating a unified and verifiable solution for material traceability from fiber to retail.

In a major leap toward end-to-end supply chain transparency, TextileGenesis has announced the integration of Haelixa’s DNA and forensic traceability technology into its advanced Fiber-to-Retail (FTR) module. This new feature enables suppliers to upload Haelixa DNA/Forensic Traceability Certificates directly through a dedicated dropdown menu titled “DNA/Forensic Traceability Certificate.” The collaboration connects physical and digital traceability, providing brands and suppliers with a unified platform to verify the authenticity of materials throughout the textile value chain.

The global textile industry continues to confront persistent risks such as fiber adulteration, blending, and fraudulent labeling, especially concerning premium materials like organic cotton, recycled fibers, and cashmere. By combining Haelixa’s forensic DNA markers—embedded directly into fibers—with TextileGenesis’ blockchain-inspired digital chain of custody, the integration introduces a multi-layered verification system that pairs scientific proof with tamper-proof digital transparency.

Traceability must go beyond trust—it must be verifiable,” stated Gediminas Mikutis, Founder and CTO of Haelixa. “By embedding natural DNA markers into the fiber itself, we provide irrefutable forensic proof of origin. When this is integrated with TextileGenesis’ digital traceability platform, brands gain unparalleled visibility and confidence in the authenticity of their materials.”

Adding further, Amit Gautam, Founder and CEO of TextileGenesis, remarked, “Supply chain transparency requires both depth and integrity. This integration with Haelixa showcases how digital and physical traceability can complement each other. It empowers brands to consolidate all traceability data—transactional, certified, and forensic—within one trusted, centralized system.”

As governments and regulators tighten scrutiny on sustainability and product origin claims, the Haelixa–TextileGenesis collaboration offers brands and suppliers a robust framework to strengthen traceability infrastructure, reduce compliance risks, and enhance consumer confidence with scientifically verified data.
