GTE Ahmedabad 2025 Concludes with Record Visitor Turnout

High visitor turnout and strong B2B engagement mark a successful close, setting the tone for upcoming editions in Greater Noida and Bengaluru

The 38th edition of Garment Technology Expo (GTE) Ahmedabad 2025, co-located with the Lace & Trims Show, concluded its third day on a high note, drawing an impressive 9,700 B2B visitors. The event reaffirmed its position as a leading business-driven platform for apparel and garment technology in Western India.

Jointly organized by Garment Technology Expo Pvt. Ltd. (GTE) and India Exposition Mart Ltd. (IEML), the three-day event witnessed exceptional participation, with exhibitors reporting strong buyer engagement and high-volume inquiries from manufacturers, exporters, and sourcing professionals.

Speaking on the success, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman, India Exposition Mart Ltd., emphasized that the overwhelming B2B participation reflects a growing demand among MSMEs and mid-sized garment manufacturers for advanced technology solutions. He added that the expo has become a vital bridge connecting global machinery suppliers with India’s rapidly expanding apparel clusters.

Exhibitors shared positive feedback on the event’s business outcomes. Rohit Gupta, MD, Balaji Sewing Machine Pvt. Ltd., noted, “It’s an excellent platform to showcase our products. We met numerous buyers, and this expo, designed specifically for the garment sector, has provided a strong boost to our business.”

Echoing similar sentiments, Kundan Gupta, Marketing Director India, ZOJE Sewing Machine Co. Ltd., stated, “I’ve participated in GTE for the last nine years, and every time, it helps us connect with key clients and garment manufacturers. I wish continued growth for GTE.”

Navin Roy, Director, Om Satya Company, highlighted, “GTE has evolved into a leading brand in the exhibition industry. Given the vast potential of the textile sector, GTE can serve as a catalyst for exponential growth.”

Visitors also expressed strong appreciation for the event’s relevance. Bipin Kumar, Proprietor, MK Sports, shared, “I’ve been attending GTE for five years. It’s a must-visit event for MSMEs and startups in the garment industry.”
Designer Manthan Shiroy, DTF, added, “Every garment professional should attend GTE at least once—it’s the best place to discover the latest technologies, trends, and techniques in apparel manufacturing.”

From the training sector, Ms. Trupti K. Mahadik, Regional Manager (Principal), ATDC Surat, said, “GTE delivers well-structured exhibitions and is an excellent platform for startups, B2B buyers, and exhibitors to explore opportunities. More such shows should be encouraged.”

Over three days, GTE Ahmedabad 2025 showcased more than 225 brands across 50,000 sq. ft., featuring state-of-the-art garment machinery, digital printing systems, embroidery solutions, automation tools, and a wide range of laces, trims, and accessories essential for apparel production. The expo offered a comprehensive sourcing ecosystem that strengthened India’s garment manufacturing value chain.

Ambrish Chopra, Director, GTE, remarked that the industry’s response surpassed expectations, noting that the collaboration between GTE and IEML enhanced the event’s ability to deliver a seamless, high-impact business experience for both exhibitors and visitors.

The organizers also announced upcoming editions:

  • GTE Greater Noida – Scheduled for 20–23 March 2026 at the India Expo Centre & Mart, promising an even larger and more diverse technology showcase.
  • GTE Bengaluru – Planned for September 2026, expanding the platform’s reach to South India’s vibrant textile and apparel clusters.

Both events will again be co-located with the Lace & Trims Show, ensuring a complete showcase of machinery, embellishments, and key inputs vital for garment production. These editions aim to further enhance sourcing, innovation, and global competitiveness across India’s apparel manufacturing landscape.
