Groz-Beckert Unveils Textile Innovations at ITMA Asia 2025

Groz-Beckert presents breakthrough solutions across six product divisions at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025 in Singapore.
From energy-efficient knitting needles to intelligent digital systems, Groz-Beckert showcases cutting-edge textile innovations driving global efficiency and sustainability.
From October 28–31, 2025, the global textile community will convene at ITMA Asia + CITME at the Singapore Expo, where Groz-Beckert will showcase its latest advancements across six divisions — Knitting, Weaving, Nonwovens, Tufting, Sewing, and Spinning — at Hall 5, Booth B301.
Innovations Across Six Core Product Divisions
Knitting
Groz-Beckert introduces the LCmax™, a next-generation circular knitting needle featuring a wave-shaped shank geometry that enhances energy efficiency, minimizes friction, and ensures smoother handling — achieving top performance with reduced power consumption.
In collaboration with PAILUNG, two new knitting systems make their debut:
- Transfer needle Vo-Spec. 94.41-30 G 0010, the finest of its kind with a 0.30 mm thickness and a 0.15 mm transfer clip, delivering exceptional precision for ultra-fine fabrics.
- New compound needle, designed for high productivity and durability even with challenging yarns or elevated production speeds.
For staple fiber applications, the SAN™ SF needle and SNK SF sinker combination minimizes contamination, extends cleaning intervals, and boosts efficiency.
In Flat Knitting, the highlights include:
- SAN™ TT – ideal for tight loops in technical and medical textiles.
- SAN™ FY – optimized for uneven effect yarns, ensuring perfect surface appearance even with complex designs.
The Legwear Segment features dur™ needles, known for extreme precision and longevity in hosiery manufacturing, supported by enhanced system parts for uniform loop transfer and superior fabric finish.
In Warp Knitting, Groz-Beckert showcases an expanded module range and a new guide needle for Piezo-Jacquard machines, setting new standards in stability and precision.
Weaving
The Weaving division will highlight how Groz-Beckert’s precision-engineered accessories enhance performance and efficiency. Its range includes heald frames, healds, reeds, warp stop motions, and drop wires—all compatible with major weaving machines for apparel, home, and technical textiles.
Special emphasis is placed on Groz-Beckert reeds, renowned for their technical precision and versatility in both high-speed and complex weaving.
The KnotMaster tying machine will be another major attraction, featuring automatic operations, intuitive touch-screen controls, LED lighting, and a modular setup for quick adaptation to materials ranging from cotton and polyester to aramid and glass.
Nonwovens
For the nonwoven sector, Groz-Beckert presents advanced solutions for both needling and carding applications.
A new felting needle barb design enhances processing of abrasive fibers like bentonite mats, reducing wear and clogging.
The InLine card clothing series — including SiroLock™ plus worker and doffer wires — ensures greater machine uptime and consistent carding quality across production.
Tufting
The Tufting division showcases an optimized gauge part system for carpets, bath mats, and artificial turf. Featuring needle, looper, reed finger, and tufting knife modules, the system ensures seamless component coordination and exceptional surface quality.
Sewing
Groz-Beckert highlights its SAN™ series of special application needles, tailored for advanced textile needs:
- SAN™ 5.2 – designed for airbags and technical textiles with superior stability.
- SAN™ 6 – ideal for denim and woven fabrics, enhanced with GEBEDUR™ coating.
- SAN™ 10 / SAN™ 10 XS – for delicate materials requiring fine precision.
- SAN™ 17 – latest innovation for high-speed sewing of dense materials, minimizing friction and heat build-up in products like airbags, safety belts, and backpacks.
The INH (Ideal Needle Handling) system, Groz-Beckert’s patented digital quality management solution, integrates hardware (dispensing trolleys, return boxes) with software (INH@site, INH@office, INH@Stock, INH@Routine, and INH@API) to improve traceability, documentation, and warehouse control.
Spinning
In spinning, Groz-Beckert introduces a maintenance-free cylinder wire for longer service life and reduced costs, along with improved revolving tops for fine yarns and stationary flats featuring a robust aluminum profile to ensure precision and durability at every stage.
