Groz-Beckert to Present Knitting, Weaving and Nonwovens Innovations at ITM 2026

Company to showcase advanced knitting needles, weaving preparation systems and nonwovens technologies at Istanbul exhibition

Groz-Beckert will present its latest technologies and product developments for the knitting, weaving and nonwovens sectors at ITM 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye. The exhibition will take place from June 9 to 13, 2026, where the company will exhibit in Hall 3, Booth 304B.

Knitting

In the Circular Knitting segment, Groz-Beckert will introduce the LCmax™, described as the next generation of energy-saving needles. The product features a wave-shaped shank geometry designed to support energy efficiency, reduce friction and simplify handling while maintaining performance with lower energy consumption.

For Flat Knitting applications, the company will present two needle solutions:

  • SAN™ TT – developed for tight loops and intended for technical and medical textile applications.
  • SAN™ FY – designed for processing uneven effect yarns to support consistent fabric appearance in complex designs.

In the Legwear segment, Groz-Beckert will showcase dur™ needles, developed for durability and precision in fine hosiery manufacturing.

For Warp Knitting, the company will present its expanding module portfolio focused on precision, stability and efficiency in loop formation processes.

Weaving

The Weaving division will feature the KnotMaster tying machine, developed for weaving preparation processes. According to the company, the modular and compact system supports faster warp changes and reduced processing times.

Groz-Beckert stated that the KnotMaster is designed to handle complex patterns and upholstery yarns across standard and special weaving applications. Live demonstrations of the system will also take place during ITM 2026.

The company will additionally present its range of reeds, healds and drop wires developed for various weaving applications and production requirements.

Another featured technology will be the PosiLeno® system, which supports leno weaving applications with flexible patterning options, optimized shed formation movements and simplified installation.

Nonwovens

In the Nonwovens segment, Groz-Beckert will showcase developments including a needle designed to reduce insertion and removal times, alongside the company’s Digital Ecosystem for production optimization and automation.

The company will also present its Mounting Service for the Nonwovens Carding product group, as well as the newly developed CB-barb felting needle.
