Groupe GODET Deploys Centric PXM to Centralize and Manage 33,000 Technical Product References

French lifting equipment specialist adopts Centric Software solutions to structure, enrich and distribute technical product data across multiple channels
Centric Software® has announced the deployment of its Centric PXM™ (Product Experience Management) solution by Groupe GODET, a French manufacturer and distributor of equipment solutions for lifting, pulling, securing, handling and working at height.
Centric Software delivers integrated AI-powered enterprise solutions supporting product planning, design, development, sourcing, compliance, manufacturing, pricing, allocation, assortment, selling and replenishment across industries including fashion, luxury, footwear, outdoor, home, consumer electronics, food & beverage, cosmetics & personal care, and multi-category retail.
Founded in 1938, Groupe GODET manages a technical catalog containing more than 33,000 product references. As part of its ongoing growth and digital transformation initiatives, the company sought to centralize and structure product information to improve data reliability, streamline internal processes, and strengthen customer and partner experiences across channels.
To support these objectives, Groupe GODET selected Centric PXM, which includes Centric PIM™ (Product Information Management), Centric DAM™ (Digital Asset Management), Centric Shoppingfeed® (content syndication) and Centric DSA™ (Digital Shelf Analytics).
“The implementation of Centric PXM marks a turning point in the management of our operational performance. Thanks to this structuring effort, we now have a reliable data foundation, essential for supporting growth and offering our customers the digital experience they expect,” says Soumaya Dridi, System & Data Manager, GODET Group.
The implementation enables Groupe GODET to structure, centralize and enrich product information while supporting distribution across multiple channels. The project also includes the creation of a structured data model designed to support the technical complexity of the company’s catalog and digital objectives.
According to the company, the new architecture supports the management, governance and use of product information by business teams and aims to improve the transparency and quality of product data shared with customers and partners.
The deployment is being carried out with support from Numendo, a partner specializing in product data structuring and governance.
Groupe GODET and Numendo teams are working together to develop a scalable data model built around product hierarchy and technical attributes required to manage the catalog’s complexity.
Centric PXM’s ActiveJobs functionality is also being used to automate selected processes and improve operational workflows.
“The complexity of the GODET Group lies in the variety of technical attributes and the multiplicity of data sources. By establishing a coherent data model from the outset, we have transformed information flows into a strategic asset. Automation via ActiveJobs now allows data teams to focus on content quality,” states Charbel C., Data Consultant, Numendo.
“We are delighted to support Groupe Godet in this key stage of its digital transformation,” said Fabrice Canonge, CEO of Centric Software. “This project perfectly illustrates Centric PXM’s ability to address the challenges faced by industrial and technical companies, where product catalog complexity is a daily issue. Thanks to Numendo’s expertise and the commitment of the Godet teams, we are laying the foundations together for sustainable digital growth.”
