Grand Continent Hotels Opens 32nd Property in Vellore

New 50-room hotel expands the hospitality brand’s presence across South India

Grand Continent Hotels Limited has launched Grand Continent Premier – Vellore, taking its portfolio to its 32nd property. Located at Green Circle on New Bypass Road, the 50-room hotel is positioned to serve business travellers, medical tourists, students and their families, leisure travellers and pilgrimage groups visiting Vellore.

The hotel’s location is connected to Vellore’s healthcare, education and business activity, with Christian Medical College (CMC) and Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) among the city’s key institutions. Its proximity to Ranipet, an industrial hub in the region, also provides access to business travel demand.

With the Vellore launch, Grand Continent Hotels now has 32+ hotels across 20+ cities with more than 2,000 keys. The company operates through an asset-light, lease-led model, with properties across business, pilgrimage and leisure destinations in India, along with an international presence in the USA and Dubai.

Grand Continent Premier – Vellore has 50 rooms across Deluxe Twin, Deluxe King and Family Room categories. The property also includes dining and event facilities for individual travellers, groups and business visitors.

Its dining options include Flavours, an 80-cover multi-cuisine restaurant serving Indian and international cuisine, with Jain meal options available. The property also features Unwind Bar, an 80-cover bar.

For meetings, conferences and social gatherings, the hotel has dedicated event spaces. The Boardroom accommodates 15–20 guests, while Blossom 1 & 2 can accommodate up to 200 guests in theatre-style seating and can be divided into separate halls. Blossom 3 can accommodate up to 60 guests in theatre-style seating.

Connectivity to Key Destinations

The hotel is approximately 4 km from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) and Christian Medical College (CMC), while Katpadi Railway Station is around 5 km away.

Other destinations include the Sripuram Golden Temple, approximately 12 km away, and Amirthi Zoological Park and Ranipet, both around 25 km from the property. Chennai Airport is approximately 125 km away.
