Global Textile Days to Drive Innovation and Business in Tashkent

Global Textile Days – Textile Week of Uzbekistan will take place from 9 to 11 September 2025 across all pavilions of the Uzexpocentre NEC. The event will mark the opening of Iteca Exhibitions’ 30th-anniversary autumn exhibition season and will combine two major industry exhibitions with a business programme.

The programme of Global Textile Days will include the 16th Central Asian International Exhibition of Equipment and Technologies for Textile, Garment and Knitwear Industry – CAITME 2025, and the 25th Anniversary International Exhibition of Textile and Garment Industry – TextileExpo Uzbekistan Autumn 2025, alongside B2B meetings and presentations.

The combined exhibition is expected to host more than 250 companies and brands from 22 countries, including Austria, Republic of Belarus, Belgium, China, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Korea, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, the UAE, the United Kingdom, the USA, Turkiye, and Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan continues to position itself as a regional centre for the textile and fashion industry through state initiatives, including the establishment of the Light Industry Development Agency supported by USD 200 million and the President’s “Intensive 100 Days” programme for the sector. These measures, together with diversification efforts by manufacturers, are contributing to modernisation, export development, and market access in Europe and the United States.
CAITME is described as the country’s leading exhibition project for textile, garment, and knitwear equipment and the only specialised exhibition of its type in Central Asia. According to an independent audit by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), CAITME ranks first among similar events in the CIS and second in Eurasia. Since 2004, it has attracted international machinery manufacturers and technology suppliers from Europe and Asia.
The exhibition is supported by relevant ministries and agencies and brings together professional buyers and delegations from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and Tajikistan, as well as investors and representatives of diplomatic and international organisations. Over time, it has served as an entry point for international companies into the Uzbek textile market.

The 2025 exhibition will be hosted in Pavilions 1, 2, 3, and Atrium 1 of the Uzexpocentre National Exhibition Complex. Pavilions 1, 2, and Atrium 1 will feature equipment and solutions for spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, and finishing. Pavilion 3 will focus on sewing technologies, including sewing machines, automated systems, cutting equipment, and production software.
Among the companies scheduled to participate are Truetzschler, Groz-Beckert, Mahlo, Habasit, MHMS, Vandewiele NV, IRO, Biancalani, Corino, Ferraro, Itema, Lafer, Mario Crosta, Motex Di Modiano Guido, Salvade`, Simet, Dilmenler, Dalgakiran, Mersan, Temsan, Lakshmi Machine Works, Lakshmi Card Clothing, Perfect Equipments, CTMTC, Hengyi, Leadsfon, Rifa, and Yingyang.
Live demonstrations will include presentations by Santoni, which will show three machines for the first time: Jingmei – JFG, Santoni – Zenit HS2, and Pilotelli – JVCE-4. New participants will include Samatex (Germany), Smartex Europe (Portugal), AB Card Clothing (India), Stylon (Russia), and Kyang Yhe Delicate Machine Co., LTD. (Taiwan).

Foreign companies account for 82% of exhibitors. The top five countries by exhibitor numbers are China (57), Turkiye (40), India (20), Italy (14), and Germany (10). The Republic of Korea will present a national pavilion organised with the support of KOTMI.
TextileExpo Uzbekistan marks its 25th anniversary in 2025. The exhibition operated under the name TextileExpo Uzbekistan from 2004 to 2017 and as UzTextileExpo from 2018 to 2024. Over 25 years, it has hosted more than 3,500 companies from 41 countries and attracted over 126,000 professional visitors.
A Buyers’ Programme launched in 2009 will again facilitate negotiations between manufacturers and buyers. During TextileExpo Uzbekistan Autumn 2025, more than 100 purchasing companies are expected to meet Uzbek producers. Past participants have included Auchan, X5 Retail Group, Magnit, Zara, Bershka, Gloria Jeans, and Oodji.
The TextileExpo Uzbekistan Autumn 2025 exhibition will be held in Pavilion 4 and Atrium 2 and will cover yarns, fabrics, knitwear, silk, home textiles, hosiery, dyes, chemicals, accessories, footwear, and printing and packaging solutions. Regular exhibitors include Osborn Textile (Uzbekistan), Mogotex (Republic of Belarus), Merganteks (Uzbekistan), and Daka-Tex Factory (Uzbekistan). Local debutants will include Elegant Fiber Textile and Indigo Garments.
The Business Programme will take place on 10 September in Atrium 2 under the theme “Central Asia as a Manufacturing Hub: Sustainability Against Global Challenges”. Topics will include technology, digitalisation, automation, market access strategies, digital labelling, Artificial Intelligence applications, and energy-saving solutions.
The exhibitions are supported by the Committee on Entrepreneurship, Competition Development and Industry of the Legislative Chamber under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association, the Tashkent City Khokimiyat, and the OSIYO RAMZI Association of Designers of Uzbekistan.
