Global Textile Days 2025 Set to Spotlight Tech & Trade

Uzbekistan is reinforcing its position as Central Asia’s premier textile and apparel production hub. While the industry faces global challenges, the country is responding with investment in modern technology and expansion into new international markets. In this context, the upcoming Global Textile Days, taking place from 9–11 September 2025 at Uzexpocentre NEC in Tashkent, becomes even more significant.
Preparations for the event are actively underway. The week-long programme features:
- 16th Central Asian International Exhibition of Equipment and Technologies for the Textile, Garment and Knitwear Industry – CAITME 2025
- 25th Anniversary International Exhibition of Textile and Garment Industry – TextileExpo Uzbekistan Autumn 2025
- A Comprehensive Business Programme focused on industry dialogue and solutions to modern textile sector challenges.
The events are organised by Iteca Exhibitions International in collaboration with ICA Eurasia Group, and will occupy all exhibition halls of Uzexpocentre NEC.

CAITME: The Flagship Exhibition
As the region’s only specialised international exhibition for textile and apparel manufacturing technologies, CAITME is recognised by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) as the largest event of its kind in the CIS.
Since its debut in 2004, it has consistently drawn top-tier global textile engineering firms and technology suppliers from Europe and Asia. In 2024, 386 companies from 22 countries participated, covering a record 15,551.5 sq.m of exhibit space, showcasing the full production cycle.
The event is officially supported by government bodies and attended by professional delegations from across Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, as well as major investors, diplomats, and international organisations.

TextileExpo Uzbekistan: Trade Meets Innovation
Celebrating its 25th edition, TextileExpo Uzbekistan is a major event that unites leading manufacturers, suppliers, and buyers. Over 130 companies from countries such as Belarus, China, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan will exhibit.
Chinese manufacturers will showcase a wide selection of home textiles, garments, fabrics, underwear, and accessories. Uzbek SMEs will participate under the “Made in Uzbekistan” banner, supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association.
The exhibition covers the entire textile production chain—from yarn and fabric to ready-made garments, nonwovens, accessories, hosiery, and workwear.
Special Buyer Programme: Matchmaking for Growth
The highlight of TextileExpo is the Special Buyer Programme, designed to facilitate B2B meetings between global purchasing companies and Uzbek producers. Over the past 16 years, it has hosted 2,000+ key buyers from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and China.
