Uzbekistan hosts a powerful convergence of textile innovation, machinery excellence, and international trade collaboration at the Global Textile Days 2025.

Global Textile Days 2025 – held as part of Uzbekistan Textile Week from September 9–11 at the Uzexpocentre National Exhibition Complex – marked the beginning of Iteca Exhibitions’ 30th anniversary autumn season. The three-day event showcased innovation, trade, and cooperation through major exhibitions and a dynamic business agenda.

Global Textile Days 2025 brought together three major international platforms under one roof:

  • The 16th Central Asian International Exhibition of Equipment and Technologies for the Textile, Garment and Knitwear Industry (CAITME 2025)
  • The 25th Anniversary International Exhibition of Textile and Garment Industry (TextileExpo Uzbekistan Autumn 2025)
  • A comprehensive Business Programme featuring B2B meetings, presentations, and panel discussions

Over 250 companies and brands from 22 countries – including Austria, China, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Turkiye, the USA, and Uzbekistan – participated, attracting more than 6,000 industry professionals and exceeding 8,000 total visits across three days.

At CAITME 2025, exhibitors presented a broad range of textile technologies – from spinning, weaving, and dyeing machinery to cutting-edge sewing systems and automation software. The event’s General Sponsor, MAIB (Turkish Machinery Exporters Association), led constructive discussions highlighting cross-border collaboration within its network of over 25,000 exporting firms.

The exhibition saw participation from leading global machinery brands such as Truetzschler, Groz-Beckert, Mahlo, Habasit, Vandewiele, Biancalani, Corino, Ferraro, Itema, Lafer, Mario Crosta, and Lakshmi Machine Works, among many others.
Several renowned companies – including Samatex, Smartex Europe, Unipessoal Lda, Ab Card Clothing, and Stylon – made their debut at CAITME 2025.

International representation remained a hallmark, with 82% of exhibitors from overseas. The top five participating countries were China (57 companies), Turkiye (40), India (20), Italy (14), and Germany (10). The Republic of Korea Pavilion, supported by KOTMI (Korea Textile Machinery Convergence Research Institute), added further prominence.

One of the standout presentations came from Santoni, a global knitting machinery leader, which unveiled three new models – Jingmei JFG, Santoni Zenit HS2, and Pilotelli JVCE-4 – combining advanced European technology with Asian production efficiency.

Throughout the event, exhibitor booths became interactive innovation hubs where engineers and specialists discussed solutions to the industry’s pressing challenges.
A strong emphasis was placed on energy efficiency, water management, digitalisation, automation, and sustainable production.

The TextileExpo Uzbekistan Autumn 2025, celebrating its 25th edition, reaffirmed its role as a leading national brand for the textile and light industries. The exhibition covered the full supply chain – from yarns, fabrics, and knitwear to home textiles, footwear, dyes, chemicals, accessories, and packaging solutions.

As part of the Special Buyer Programme, over 100 global buyers engaged in negotiations with Uzbek manufacturers. Participants hailed from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Germany, India, Japan, Kazakhstan, Poland, Russia, Turkiye, and beyond.
A key partner, Qo‘qon Global Teks, founded in 2020, showcased high-quality cotton fibre and spinning operations that adhere to European standards.

Long-term exhibitors such as Osborn Textile, Mogotex, Merganteks, and Daka-Tex Factory returned, joined by new participants like Elegant Fiber Textile, Indigo Garments, and Eco Fabric Style, who presented innovative fabrics and home textile products.

The event’s Business Programme, themed “Central Asia as a Manufacturing Hub: Resilience in the Face of Global Challenges,” hosted 10 seminars and 14 expert presentations. Speakers discussed digitalisation, automation, cost reduction, AI integration, and access to new global markets, including Russian and international e-commerce.

The strong institutional and media attention, with coverage by 39 sources – including government agencies, diplomatic missions, and major media outlets – underlined the event’s strategic importance.

Official support came from:

  • Committee on Entrepreneurship, Competition Development, and Industry of the Legislative Chamber under the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan
  • Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan
  • Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan
  • Uztekstilprom Association
