Apparel Imports (Feb. 2025):
- USA: Apparel imports valued at US$ 6.4 billion, marking a 3% YoY increase
- EU: Imports rose to US$ 8.0 billion, up 23% YoY
- UK: Recorded a significant 31% YoY growth, reaching US$ 1.7 billion
- Japan: Imports reached US$ 1.8 billion, a 6% YoY rise
Apparel Exports (Mar. 2025):
- China: Maintained leadership with US$ 10.9 billion in exports, up 9% YoY
- Bangladesh: Exported US$ 3.4 billion, growing 10% YoY
- India: Export levels remained steady at US$ 1.5 billion
- Vietnam: Achieved 20% YoY growth, totaling US$ 2.4 billion in exports

- In March 2025, US apparel store sales increased by 2%, while home furnishing stores posted 4% growth
- UK apparel store sales reached £4.3 billion, up 2% YoY
- UK’s online clothing sales saw a 14% increase in Q1 2025 vs. Q1 2024
- India’s apparel retail sales in February 2025 rose 4% YoY
📉 US Economic Indicators (Mar. 2025):
The macroeconomic scenario shows mixed signals. While inflation dropped to 2.4%, consumer confidence fell to 92.9, down from 102.7 in February, indicating growing economic caution.
