GHCL Textiles Appoints Marshal Sonavane as CEO

GHCL Textiles Limited has announced the appointment of Marshal Rajendrakumar Sonavane as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective June 1, 2025. He succeeds R. Balakrishnan, a seasoned industry veteran who has significantly contributed to the company’s transformation and growth over more than 20 years of dedicated service.

Marshal joined GHCL Limited as Chief Strategy Officer on January 1, 2025, and has now been elevated to lead GHCL Textiles. In his new role, he will spearhead the company’s strategic vision, drive innovation, and reinforce its leadership in the textile sector.

An engineering graduate from BITS Pilani and an MBA holder in Finance and Marketing from XLRI Jamshedpur, Marshal brings over 14 years of experience spanning strategic planning and operational execution across leading industrial firms.
