Gartex Texprocess India Mumbai 2025 Begins with Global Edge
The Mumbai edition of Gartex Texprocess India 2025 officially opened today at the Jio World Convention Centre, bringing together key players from across the textile value chain. This year’s edition places a strong emphasis on textile and garment manufacturing machinery, innovations in fabrics, digital and screen printing technologies, accessories, and trims.
With participation from over 125 exhibitors across countries including India, China, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan, the expo underscores India’s growing prominence in the global textile manufacturing landscape.

During the opening address, Shri Sanjay Savkare highlighted the rise of denim as a fashion staple and the Maharashtra government’s new textile policy. He outlined the zonal subsidy structure—up to 45% in Zone 1—and announced initiatives like Zero-Waste Fashion to recycle textile waste into usable materials. He also shared updates on the soon-to-launch PM Mitra Park in Amravati, emphasizing ongoing infrastructure support for manufacturers.
Shri Shashank Chaudhary discussed the development of a 1,000-acre integrated textile park near Lucknow under the PM Mitra Scheme. Built on a PPP model, the project aims to attract large-scale investment and facilitate industry expansion with improved single-window clearances and approvals.
Mr. Gaurav Juneja of MEX Exhibitions emphasized that the Mumbai and Delhi editions of the show continue to evolve as dynamic industry hubs. He noted that this year's edition offers promising business opportunities, especially in denim, fabric innovation, and textile machinery.
Mr. Raj Manek from Messe Frankfurt added that the event is more than just an exhibition—it's a transformational platform. With global supply chains undergoing realignment, the show connects Indian manufacturers with international markets and promotes industry resilience and innovation.
The expo, co-organized by MEX Exhibitions Pvt Ltd and Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd, runs from 22–24 May 2025 at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.
