Gartex Texprocess India and DLAI Launch Textile Care Forum for 2025

Marking a milestone in India's evolving textile care sector, Gartex Texprocess India has announced a strategic partnership with the Drycleaners and Launderers Association of India (DLAI) to launch the Textile Care Forum during its 2025 edition. The event, organized by MEX Exhibitions Pvt Ltd and Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd, will be held from 21–23 August 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
As India’s textile care industry focuses more on eco-friendly chemicals, waterless systems, and sustainable operations, this collaboration will elevate Gartex Texprocess India's offerings by integrating DLAI’s expertise and network of over 3,000 stakeholders across the laundry and cleaning ecosystem. The forum will be held on 22 August 2025 and is expected to be a major platform for knowledge exchange, featuring innovations in cleaning technology, biodegradable chemicals, stain treatment solutions, and automation.
According to IMARC Group, the Indian dry-cleaning services market reached USD 1.31 billion in 2024 and is projected to hit USD 2.09 billion by 2033. With growing awareness of hygiene and textile lifecycle care, the industry is poised for significant transformation.
Mr. Suresh D Bhatia, President of DLAI, emphasized:
“At DLAI, we believe in collaboration and innovation to uplift the textile care industry. Our partnership with Gartex Texprocess India bridges the entire textile lifecycle—from production to preservation. Together, we strengthen the entire chain, supporting quality, hygiene, and sustainability.”
Mr. Raj Manek, Executive Director of Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd, added:
“This partnership aligns with the global Texcare vision. We see growing demand across industries for sustainable and efficient laundry services, and DLAI’s involvement opens deeper business networks and knowledge pathways.”
Ms. Himani Gulati, Director, MEX Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, commented:
“Gartex has always adapted to real industry shifts. With DLAI, we now introduce a focused platform for textile care that enhances our portfolio and highlights sustainability in textile maintenance.”
The upcoming event will feature specialized pavilions, workshops, and discussions focusing on upskilling, sustainability, and industry readiness. With exhibitors from across fabrics, trims, denim, screen printing, and now textile care, Gartex Texprocess India is fast evolving into a comprehensive hub for the textile value chain.
