Flipkart, India’s leading e-commerce marketplace, has reported a 25–30% rise in transacting sellers over the past six months, with seller businesses growing nearly 30% in the June–August quarter. This surge, largely driven by AI-powered insights, simplified seller tools, and wider onboarding efforts, positions its seller ecosystem for strong festive growth.

High-growth categories such as Fashion, Books & General Merchandise (BGM), and Electronics are witnessing robust demand, supported by Flipkart’s AI-powered NXT Insights Platform and the revamped Seller Hub that offer real-time analytics, GenAI-driven recommendations, and simplified settlement systems.

Emerging entrepreneurial hubs like Kannauj (perfumes), Khurja (pottery), and Shantipur (handlooms) have also joined the marketplace, strengthening Flipkart’s regional diversity and e-commerce access. Through the New Seller Success Program, entrepreneurs are achieving 2–3X early growth by receiving free onboarding support and dedicated account managers in their first 60 days.

Sakait Chaudhary, SVP & Head of Marketplace at Flipkart, said:
“The festive season is a pivotal opportunity for our seller community, and Flipkart remains committed to helping them succeed. With AI-led platforms and simplified seller operations, we are equipping them to grow with confidence. The rise of new hubs like Kannauj and Khurja, alongside category growth in Fashion, Electronics, and BGM, highlights our inclusive and resilient marketplace.”

Trisha Talasani, owner of BTMVentures, Hyderabad, added:
“The festive season is the most crucial time for us, and Flipkart has made it easier to plan and grow. With Seller Hub and NXT Insights, I can track trends, plan inventory, and make quicker decisions. My grooming category business grew 400% this year with Flipkart’s support.”

With over 90 million product listings, Flipkart continues to empower MSMEs, artisans, and entrepreneurs with better digital tools, simplified GST compliance, and continuous training to ensure sellers can scale sustainably and pass benefits directly to customers.
