FiltXPO™ 2026 Opens Abstract Submissions for Filtration Forum

INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, together with the American Filtration and Separations Society (AFS), has opened the call for technical presentations for the Advances in Filtration Conference, scheduled for October 28–29, 2026, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The conference will take place as part of FiltXPO™ 2026, bringing together filtration professionals for focused technical exchange and collaboration.
Invitation to industry, academia and research communities
The organisers are inviting filtration specialists from industry, universities and research institutions to submit abstracts presenting original research, new technologies and applied developments influencing the future of filtration. The two-day conference is designed as a dedicated platform for sharing technical knowledge across sectors and applications.
Key technical themes
Abstract submissions are welcomed across a range of filtration-related topics, including:
- Artificial intelligence applications in filtration and data centres
- e-mobility and battery-related filtration technologies
- Nonwoven filtration media for water treatment and PFAS removal
- Sustainability and environmental aspects of filtration systems
These focus areas reflect current and emerging challenges facing the global filtration industry.
Presentation formats and review process
The Advances in Filtration Conference will feature both oral presentations and technical poster sessions. All submitted abstracts will be evaluated through a peer-review process conducted by the Conference Planning Committee. Presentation formats will be assigned based on technical content and overall programme balance, with both oral and poster contributions considered equally important.
Technical posters return for 2026
Following strong engagement at FiltXPO 2025, technical posters will once again form a core part of the 2026 programme. The format offers an opportunity for researchers, subject matter experts and early-career professionals to present detailed studies and innovative concepts in an interactive setting.
Submission details and deadline
Abstract submissions are now open and must be completed via the AFS submission portal. All abstracts must be received by April 3, 2026, and will undergo peer review by the Conference Planning Committee.
