Filo Highlights Innovation with ‘Vice-Versa’ at Filo64

The video Vice-Versa, showcasing the product development proposals for Filo64, has received remarkable appreciation just days after its release. This video, featuring the creative concepts curated by fabric designer Rossano Bisio, has quickly gained popularity among textile professionals, evidenced by the high number of views on the Filo website and overwhelmingly positive feedback.
Textile professionals have particularly noted the technical depth and innovation reflected in the proposals, marking Vice-Versa as a standout in the creative journey of Filo.
Paolo Monfermoso, Manager of Filo, stated:
“Just a few days after Vice-Versa was published, we’ve received numerous comments from exhibitors and textile industry professionals. They highlighted two essential aspects of our product development: the strong technical focus and the high level of innovation. These two pillars have been at the core of our work for several editions. It makes us proud to know that companies across the supply chain recognize and value them. It means we’re addressing a critical need — reinforcing technical capabilities in the manufacturing sector, which are at risk of being lost.”
Monfermoso added that this guiding philosophy also inspired Made in Filo, the in-house collection of fabric samples, which will be presented at Filo64 and is co-developed with exhibitors. The “Vice-Versa” concept will be the foundation for this edition’s collection.
The Vice-Versa project seeks to blend tradition with innovation, broadening the textile and fashion industry’s aesthetic and functional horizons. It represents a dialogue between past and future, with innovation acting as a catalyst for aesthetic and ethical transformation rooted in material quality and artisanal excellence.
As Rossano Bisio explains:
“Technically, we worked with yarns to make the shift in styles visible, blending contrasting characteristics.”
The 64th edition of Filo will take place on 23–24 September 2025 at Fiera Milano Rho, Hall 14.
