Filo 64 Opens with Focus on Innovation & Sustainability

The opening ceremony of the 64th edition of Filo will take place on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Fiera Milano Rho, Hall 14. The event is titled “Innovation, Sustainability, Legality: The Future of Made in Italy.”

The program will begin with introductory remarks from Paolo Monfermoso, Head of Filo; Pier Francesco Corcione, General Manager of the Unione Industriale Biellese; and Elena Chiorino, Vice President of the Piedmont Region.

The first part of the ceremony will feature speeches by Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, Minister of Environment and Energy Security, and Matteo Zoppas, President of ITA-Agenzia for Internationalization.

The morning will continue with a roundtable discussion including Mauro Chezzi (Deputy Director of Confindustria Moda and Representative of Retex.Green), Giovanni Marchi (President of MagnoLab), Francesca Rulli (Co-founder of Ympact and Founder of 4sustainability), and Luca Sburlati (President of Confindustria Moda). The session will be moderated by Laura Ricardi, journalist at the UIB Press Office.

To facilitate participation by international visitors and buyers, the ceremony will provide simultaneous English translation, accessible through a QR code generated by Filo’s digital services team.
