FESPA to Launch New Textile Event in Barcelona from 19–22 May 2026

FESPA will introduce its new Textile-focused exhibition in Barcelona this May, marking the debut of a dedicated platform for professionals involved in fashion, apparel and interior décor. The event will be held at the Gran Via, Fira de Barcelona, from 19–22 May 2026, alongside FESPA Global Print Expo, European Sign Expo, Personalisation Experience, WrapFest and the newly launched Corrugated exhibition.
The co-located events are designed to serve as a central meeting point for industry participants to review current technologies, identify emerging trends and explore opportunities across different sectors. The Textile event will specifically bring together stakeholders from across the textile value chain to examine advancements in printed textile applications.
Visitors will be able to review a range of technologies including roll-to-roll systems, direct-to-garment (DTG) and direct-to-fabric (DTF) solutions. The exhibition area, located in Hall 3, is intended to provide practical insights for printers, garment manufacturers, designers and brands seeking to enhance production efficiency and adopt more environmentally responsible processes.

Participating exhibitors confirmed for the event include Brother, Fabrixa, Kornit Digital, KYOCERA, M&R, Polyprint, Roq, STAHLS and Tajima, companies known for their work in textile printing, DTG and DTF technologies.
A four-day conference programme will run alongside the exhibition, addressing topics such as productivity improvement, waste reduction, environmental impact, and the application of data and workflow automation in textile production. The sessions will involve contributions from technology providers, printers, garment manufacturers, suppliers and designers.
Panel discussions and demonstrations will focus on areas including digital workflow integration, material selection, circular textile models and flexible production systems. Sessions moderated by FESPA Textile Ambassador Debbie McKeegan will include: “The Digital Switch: Textile Technologies and Key Market Insights”, “Décor on Demand: Design to Dispatch and the Printed Interior”, and “Added Value Apparel: Surface Effects and Embellishment for Garment Decoration”.
The event builds on FESPA’s 60-year involvement in textile-related printing, including applications in fashion, sportswear, soft signage and interior décor. In recent years, the organisation has expanded its focus to include garment decoration, sportswear and personalisation.

Duncan MacOwan, Head of Marketing & Events, FESPA comments: “It’s always exciting to introduce new elements to the FESPA events lineup. Textile will provide a platform for specialists in fashion, apparel, sportswear, interior décor and more, to explore a wide range of products and solutions. At the same time, the event strengthens FESPA’s long-standing heritage in the textile printing industry. This inaugural event promises to deliver exciting opportunities not only for the textile community, but for the entire FESPA network. The FESPA team and I can’t wait to welcome everyone to its first edition this May.”
