FESPA Launches Corrugated Event 2026 for Packaging Innovation

FESPA is set to introduce its first-ever Corrugated event, taking place at Fira de Barcelona Gran Via from May 19–22, 2026. The event is designed as a dedicated platform for corrugated converters, packaging manufacturers, and display producers to explore the latest advancements shaping the industry.

Spanning 1,500 square meters, the exhibition will bring together key stakeholders with suppliers offering advanced machinery, materials, and software solutions for next-generation corrugated production. Visitors will have access to innovations such as high-speed digital printing systems, precision converting technologies, workflow automation software, robotics, and sustainable substrate solutions.

In addition to the core exhibition, attendees can also explore related sectors through co-located events including FESPA Global Print Expo, European Sign Expo, Personalisation Experience, WrapFest, and the newly introduced Textile showcase. This integrated setup enables visitors to discover cross-industry opportunities across print, packaging, textiles, and personalization.

A strong lineup of exhibitors has already been confirmed, featuring leading industry names such as Canon, HP, Ricoh, Koenig & Bauer, Bobst, and Xaar, among others.

Alongside the exhibition, a free-to-attend Corrugated Conference will take place in Hall 3, offering valuable insights into industry trends and challenges. Key topics include evolving EU packaging regulations such as Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), the increasing role of artificial intelligence in manufacturing workflows, and cybersecurity considerations for modern production facilities.

Featured sessions will include expert discussions led by industry leaders, such as Thomas Othax, Evert Delbanco, and Ian Bates, addressing automation, regulatory shifts, and the future direction of corrugated packaging.

Nick Kirby, Non-Executive Director at Zeus Packaging and FESPA’s Corrugated Ambassador, emphasized the importance of the event as a platform for innovation, collaboration, and business growth. He highlighted the increasing convergence between print and packaging industries and noted that the event will help professionals explore new opportunities beyond traditional boundaries.

With its focus on innovation, sustainability, and cross-sector collaboration, the Corrugated event aims to provide attendees with valuable insights and a broader perspective on the future of the packaging and display industry.
