FESPA Announces Speaker Line-Up for Corrugated Conference 2026

FESPA, in partnership with Brunton Publications, has released the speaker line-up for its inaugural Corrugated event. The conference will take place from 19–22 May 2026 at Gran Via, Fira de Barcelona.

The Corrugated Conference will be held in Hall 3, Stand B162, as part of FESPA’s first dedicated corrugated event. The programme is free to attend and is designed for professionals involved in corrugated applications, focusing on industry trends, operational challenges and ongoing developments related to digital, regulatory and technological changes.

Day One: Navigating the digital revolution
The sessions on 19 May include a roundtable discussion featuring representatives from HP, EFI, Koenig & Bauer and Kento, addressing developments in print technologies.

Stefan Liversidge will present on cybersecurity and its role in production and supply chain resilience. Christian Vionnet will examine market trends related to e-commerce and its potential impact on the sector.

Day Two: Securing the future with talent and technology
The programme on 20 May will focus on operational processes and workforce considerations.

Thomas Orthax will discuss the role of artificial intelligence in automation, including configuration, pricing and quoting processes. A case study will be presented by Lorenzo de la Mora and Javier Quesada, examining digital, analogue and hybrid technologies used in packaging design and production.

Jo Stephenson will address workforce challenges and strategies to attract new talent. David Preskett will present on production tools and trends influencing the packaging industry.

Day Three: The regulatory road ahead
The final sessions will focus on sustainability and regulatory developments.

Dr Aaron Yeardley will discuss ESRS E5 and circular economy considerations related to raw materials such as inks, varnishes and coatings. Evert Delbanco will examine regulatory changes linked to raw materials and closed-loop systems.

Ian Bates will present on developments in the European corrugated market, including material innovation and fibre-based solutions.
