FAB Show 2026 Opens in Mumbai with Strong Industry Participation

The 6th edition of the Fabrics, Accessories & Beyond Show (FAB Show 2026) commenced on April 2, 2026, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. Organised by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), the event runs until April 4 and brings together stakeholders from across the textile and garment value chain. The exhibition focuses on sourcing, innovation, sustainability, and emerging technologies.

FAB Show 2026, organised by Clothing Manufacturers Association of India, was inaugurated on April 2, 2026, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. The three-day event is scheduled to conclude on April 4, 2026, and aims to provide a platform for the textile and apparel supply chain.

The inauguration witnessed participation from export houses, textile exporters, and international suppliers. Guests of Honour included Rushabh Gala - Zola Fashions, Deepak Sheta – Indoera; Santosh Bandari Yadav - Aditya Birla, Kapil Biradar - Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail, Pragati Srivastava - Rayomd Lifestyle, and Essdee Shanmugasundaram - President, South India Hosiery Manufacturers' Association. Representatives from industry bodies such as The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry; Federation of Surat Textile Traders Association; Garment Exporters Association of Rajasthan; Indore Readymade Vastra Vyapari Sangh; and Eastern UP Exporters Association were also present.

The exhibition spans nearly 2 lakh sq. ft. and features over 250 exhibitors showcasing fabrics, trims, accessories, machinery, and related services. The platform is designed to connect manufacturers, exporters, retailers, private labels, and e-commerce participants with sourcing opportunities. The event is expected to attract more than 14,000 trade visitors from over 320 cities in India, along with international buyers from 27 countries including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the US, UAE, Egypt, Mauritius, and China.

Block Field

A new International Pavilion has been introduced in this edition, alongside participation from domestic textile clusters such as Surat, Ahmedabad, Bhilwara, Jaipur, Ludhiana, Gurugram & NCR, Erode, Tiruppur, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. The event also includes curated networking sessions for interaction between buyers, exporters, brands, and industry stakeholders.

Santosh Katariya, President, Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), said, “FAB Show has become a vital sourcing platform for India’s garment industry. As supply chains become more complex and cost-sensitive, having access to reliable suppliers and innovative materials under one roof is essential. This edition brings together a diverse mix of Indian and global participants, helping businesses streamline sourcing and improve efficiency while adapting to new industry demands.”

The Surat Pavilion includes more than 50 stalls, reflecting the city’s expanded role beyond polyester manufacturing into cotton and sustainable fabrics.

Technology-focused participation includes Artificial Intelligence solution providers offering applications in design, production, inventory, and retail. A segment titled “Future Factory/Green Factories” by Magus Fashion City highlights developments in sustainable manufacturing infrastructure.

Naveen Sainani, Chairman of the FAB Show, stated, “This edition reflects the industry’s shift towards smarter and more responsible manufacturing. With the integration of AI-led solutions and a stronger focus on sustainable practices, FAB Show 2026 offers businesses the opportunity to explore future-ready sourcing options and strengthen their competitiveness.”

Sustainability is addressed through a dedicated pavilion presenting developments in eco-friendly textiles, accessories, certifications, and production processes.

The event continues to attract sourcing teams from garment manufacturers, export houses, retailers, and e-commerce companies. The visitor profile includes manufacturers, exporters, private labels, distributors, wholesalers, corporates, and industry stakeholders.
