Exhibition of handloom textiles starting on January 2

According to V Swamy Naidu, the chief executive officer of Shilparamam, which is situated close to Madhurawada in Visakhapatnam, the All-India Handloom Textile Exhibition will open on January 2 at 11 a.m.

In order to promote the state's culture and give handloom textile workers a direct marketplace without the involvement of middlemen, the Andhra Pradesh Shilparamam Society will host an All-India Textile Exhibition in Visakhapatnam.

From January 2 to January 16, more than 100 craftspeople from different parts of the nation will set up shop at Shilparamam and sell their wares. In partnership with the Development Commissioner of the Government of India, Handloom, New Delhi, the textile expo will be organized.

According to Swamy Naidu, the inauguration is anticipated to be attended by YSRCP MLC Botcha Satyanarayana, Bheemunipatnam MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao, tourism, culture, and cinema-tography minister Kandula Durgesh, and district in-charge Minister Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy.
