Vietnam aiming high for textile & garment exports
The export turnover of Vietnam’s textile and garment industry reached USD44.5 billion in 2022, a 10% increase compared to 2021. It is expected to reach $50-52 billion in 2025 and $68-70 billion in 2030, according to the government’s strategy for the development of the textile-footwear industry. Vietnam will need to import lots of machinery to meet its production target.
