Two international textile associations meet in Uzbekistan for the first time. Samarkand will play host to the Joint Conference of the Annual Conference of the ITMF and the IAF Fashion Convention, two of the world’s largest international textile federations, on September 8–10, 2024.In Uzbekistan, this major event will bring together over a thousand well-known participants in the global textile sector. To discuss topics related to the ongoing development of the global textile industry, heads of over 500 international organizations, textile firms, brands and retailers, and financial institutions from Europe, the CIS, Asia, Africa, and America will come together for the first time on one platform.The ITMF Annual Conference and IAF World Fashion Convention in Uzbekistan were announced by the Uztextileprom Association on November 6, 2023, as part of the International Federation of Textile Manufacturers’ Annual Conference and Textile Week in Keqiao.
According to earlier reports, Samarkand will host the upcoming IAF conference at the IAF 2023 Fashion Convention in Philadelphia, USA, on October 25.
