In just two months, we are gearing up for our 15th ISCC Global Sustainability Conference in the vibrant city of Brussels. Get ready to join us for inspiring discussions, innovative ideas, and meaningful connections as we focus on a sustainable future together! The hybrid event will take place on 20 February 2025, from 10:00 am – 4:30 pm (CET), with a reception for onsite participants from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm (CET).
We are excited to announce the confirmed speakers for the ISCC PLUS Stream! You can expect an update on regulatory developments, including the Plastic Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and Single-Use Plastics Directive (SUPD) from Werner Bosmans of the European Commission. Dr Jan Henke, Director of ISCC, will provide an update and outlook on ISCC PLUS. Yvonne van der Laan from LyondellBasell will discuss the circular economy with a focus on chemical and mechanical recycling. Daniel Melzer and Dr Thomas Herbst from STABILO will share insights on contributing to a sustainable future through ISCC PLUS certified products. Jan Kaptijn from SABIC will talk about the successful implementation of ISCC Carbon Footprint Certification. To conclude, there will be a panel discussion with all the speakers, exploring the possibility of an integrated sustainability certification approach.
