Equipmake Wins £5.45m Agrale Order for Bus Drivetrains

Equipmake Holdings plc (“Equipmake”), a leading innovator in engineering-driven electrification technologies, products, and solutions for automotive, truck, bus, and specialty vehicle sectors, has announced a new £5.45 million order from Agrale S.A. (“Agrale”). The agreement covers the supply of electric drivetrain systems for 50 Agrale buses of different configurations and includes coverage for non-recurring engineering costs.
This new order follows Agrale’s initial purchase of five zero-emission drivetrains in August 2024, all of which have already been delivered successfully. Under the contract terms, Equipmake will supply the systems in phased batches through mid-2026. Each delivery will be backed by advance payments and secured by irrevocable letters of credit confirmed by a UK clearing bank.
The integrated electric drivetrain solution being provided includes an electric motor, inverter, control systems, and battery pack, combining Equipmake’s proprietary products and technologies with select components sourced from trusted third-party suppliers. With this latest agreement, Equipmake’s live order book has expanded to exceed £10 million.
