Epson Opens Digital Label Press Centre in New Delhi
New Delhi, 20 June 2025 – Epson, a global leader in printing and imaging, has officially opened its first Digital Label Press Solution Centre at Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi. This new facility is designed to serve as an experiential space where visitors can interact with Epson’s SurePress L-6534VW, a high-performance UV inkjet digital label press built for up to 1 million linear metres per month.
Catering to label printers, converters, and manufacturers, the centre offers practical demonstrations, substrate testing, and technical guidance. It aims to support businesses in making informed decisions by providing real-time production conditions and functionality reviews—further strengthening Epson’s role in India’s evolving digital label printing sector.
The SurePress L-6534VW is tailored for short to medium-volume label printing, delivering speeds of up to 50 metres per minute with resolution up to 600x1200 dpi. It features PrecisionCore® printheads and Epson’s proprietary Variable Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT), which allows droplet sizes as small as 3.2 picolitres, resulting in sharp, vibrant prints.
A notable innovation is the digital varnish function, which supports both gloss and matte effects. Combined with white ink, UV pinning, and a drum platen system, the press produces durable, high-impact labels ideal for FMCG, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, industrial products, and more.
