Epson India announced the installation of its Monna Lisa 64000 digital textile printer at Priyadharshini Designs in Karur. The installation marks the first deployment of this model in India using advanced pigment ink technology and reflects the growing shift toward high-capacity digital textile printing in the country.

The Indian textile sector is increasingly adopting digital printing technologies to support shorter production cycles, higher design flexibility, consistent output quality, and more sustainable manufacturing practices.

Epson India confirmed the installation of its 64-print head Monna Lisa 64000 digital textile printer at Priyadharshini Designs, Karur. This is the first installation of the Monna Lisa 64000 printer in India featuring advanced pigment ink technology. The development signals expanding use of industrial-scale digital textile printing solutions across the domestic textile industry.

Priyadharshini Designs, a supplier to exporters in the home décor textile segment, is an existing Epson customer and has been operating the Monna Lisa 8000 for the past three years. Based on its experience with Epson’s print performance, consistency, operational efficiency, and post-sales service, the company has invested in the Monna Lisa 64000 to increase production capacity, shorten delivery timelines, and respond to rising demand.

Digital textile printing supports on-demand manufacturing, lowers water and chemical usage, and enables faster response to international markets. These attributes are driving adoption across home décor, fashion, and industrial textile applications. Epson’s Monna Lisa digital textile printer range is positioned for colour accuracy, production stability, and pigment ink capability, allowing manufacturers to scale output while improving resource efficiency.

“Our experience with the Monna Lisa 8000 gave us the confidence to invest in Monna Lisa 64000. With Epson’s strong product performance and post-sales support, we have enhanced efficiency and grown our business with confidence,” said Selvaraj Dhivakar, Owner, Priyadharshini Designs.
