Almost 300 companies support the Ocean Network, a national initiative that promotes environmental solutions. Members of the Ocean Network are frequently involved in their local communities, dedicated to stopping plastic pollution, influencing government policy, keeping corporations accountable, and motivating the next generation to safeguard the ocean.

Being the first business to collect and recycle used fishing nets that damage marine life and contaminate our oceans, Hyosung started its journey towards ocean protection in 2007. Hyosung has increased production and re-launched regen ocean nylon, a post-consumer yarn manufactured from used fishing nets, using its unique recycling technology. Regen Ocean Polyester Fiber from the company is created from ocean-bound plastic trash.
