EFI Showcases New Display Graphics, Packaging and Textile Printing Technologies at FESPA 2026

New hybrid, roll-to-roll and textile inkjet systems introduced for sign, display, packaging and textile applications

EFI stated that the showcased technologies are intended to support sign and display producers in increasing production capacity, expanding application capabilities, and improving workflow efficiency across different print segments.

“FESPA is a global meeting point for print innovation, and it’s the ideal platform to demonstrate how EFI technologies help our customers grow and adapt in an increasingly dynamic market,” said Frank Pennisi, CEO. “From soft signage to superwide production and high-end hybrid printing, our portfolio is designed to give print providers the flexibility and efficiency they need to stay competitive and profitable across every segment. We are especially excited to publicly launch two of our newest offerings, the VUTEk FabriVU 340 i8 dye sublimation and VUTEk M3h X hybrid presses here at FESPA, and how they help our customers put brilliance in motion.”

EFI VUTEk M3h X Hybrid Printer

EFI introduced the VUTEk M3h X hybrid LED printer for higher-volume sign and display production. The system supports both board and roll printing in one platform and includes white ink capability and multilayer printing up to nine layers.

The printer also features LED curing technology and is designed to support faster turnaround times, reduce operational costs, and enable application diversification.

EFI VUTEk FabriVU 340 i8 Dye Sublimation Printer

Making its debut at FESPA, the 3.4-metre EFI VUTEk FabriVU 340 i8 dye sublimation printer with inline fixation is designed for retail, event, and branded textile applications.

The printer uses eight-colour printing consisting of CMYK, Orange, Blue, and a choice of two light inks to expand colour gamut and improve reproduction of challenging Pantone® colours. It delivers resolutions up to 2,400 dpi and supports production speeds of up to 375 square metres per hour.

EFI stated that the system supports direct printing to polyester-based materials with inline sublimation and can also be configured for transfer paper printing.

EFI VUTEk Q3h XP Hybrid Printer

EFI is also presenting the VUTEk Q3h XP high-performance hybrid LED printer in a seven-colour configuration that includes light cyan, light magenta, and light black inks.

The system is designed for flatbed and roll-to-roll production environments and supports optional white and clear inks as well as multilayer printing for premium display applications.

EFI VUTEk X5r Roll-to-Roll Printer

The 5.2-metre EFI VUTEk X5r roll-to-roll LED printer is being highlighted for high-volume indoor and outdoor graphics production.

The printer includes automation technologies such as automatic Y-slitters, Smart Slide job collection and stacking, and EFInsight™ cloud-based analytics.

EFI also demonstrated the InSpec AI option, an AI-powered quality control system designed to identify print defects during production and support real-time correction.

EFI Nozomi and Textile Technologies

EFI is also showcasing developments based on the EFI Nozomi platform for signage, display graphics, and corrugated packaging applications.

The company highlighted the EFI Reggiani ecoTERRA water-based pigment ink solution, designed to reduce textile processing steps by eliminating pre-treatment, steaming, washing, and stentering.

Also featured is the EFI Reggiani ecoNEXT Plus industrial digital textile printer for direct-to-fabric pigment printing. The system supports up to seven colours and is optimised for non-elastic woven fabrics.

According to EFI, the printer integrates the ink system, fixation unit, colour feeding, and EFI Reggiani QUERY production analytics into a single workflow platform.

FESPA 2026 Participation

EFI stated that visitors to its stand will be able to explore different print applications and discuss workflow, sustainability, and production solutions with company experts.

The company will also host a press conference on Wednesday, May 20 at 12:00 PM in the Press Room at South Access, Level 1 during the exhibition.
