Durak Tekstil Introduces Maxibalance Bio-Ceramic Embroidery Thread for Functional Textiles
New thread uses bio-ceramic and FAR IR technology for applications in sportswear, activewear and medical textiles
Durak Tekstil has introduced Durak Maxibalance, a bio-ceramic embroidery thread developed using FAR IR (Far Infrared) technology. The product is designed for textile applications where movement comfort and balance are key considerations, including sportswear, activewear, performance textiles, medical textiles and casual apparel.
Developed through R&D activities at Durak Tekstil’s R&D Center, Maxibalance is intended to add functional properties to embroidery applications beyond their conventional decorative use.
Bio-Ceramic Technology Integrated into Embroidery Thread
According to Durak Tekstil, the bio-ceramics incorporated into Maxibalance absorb FAR IR energy naturally emitted by the body and reflect it back into the tissues. The company states that this process contributes to maintaining body temperature, alleviating muscle soreness, strengthening balance and supporting athletic performance.

Applications Across Functional Textile Segments
Maxibalance has been added to Durak Tekstil’s technical and functional thread portfolio. The embroidery thread is intended for applications including sportswear, activewear, performance textiles, medical textiles and casual apparel.
The company states that textiles embroidered with Maxibalance have also been observed to help alleviate muscle soreness following high-intensity athletic activities.
