Dr Kalantri Congratulates Maharashtra’s New Chief Secretary

WTC Mumbai reinforces collaboration to support Maharashtra’s $1 trillion economic vision.
Dr Vijay Kalantri met newly appointed Chief Secretary Shri Rajesh Aggarwal to strengthen cooperation in advancing Maharashtra’s trade and investment-led growth.
Dr. Vijay Kalantri, Chairman of World Trade Center (WTC) Mumbai and President of the All India Association of Industries (AIAI), met with Shri Rajesh Aggarwal, who has recently taken charge as Maharashtra’s Chief Secretary, to strengthen engagement on the state’s future economic roadmap. A key highlight of the meeting was aligning efforts toward Maharashtra’s mission of reaching a $1 trillion economy.
During the discussion, both leaders explored strategies to enhance the state’s trade ecosystem, investment climate, and overall economic growth. Dr. Kalantri reaffirmed WTC Mumbai’s continued support toward advancing Maharashtra’s global competitiveness and accelerating developmental momentum.
Congratulating the Chief Secretary on his new role, Dr. Kalantri remarked, “Maharashtra continues to lead with progressive, reform-focused governance. Sectors such as IT, Textiles, Green Energy, and Manufacturing will be the driving forces of the state’s economy in the coming years. Under the leadership of an experienced administrator like Shri Rajesh Aggarwal, we are optimistic about achieving the one trillion-dollar economic milestone.”
