Karnavati University is a State Private University committed to excellence in teaching and focused on interdisciplinary learning. Situated over 33 acres of land in Uvarsad near Gandhinagar, the university received Private University status in March 2017 through the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2017.
Empowered to award degrees as specified under Section 22 of the UGC Act, Karnavati University offers regular mode programs on its main campus with the necessary approvals from Statutory Bodies/Councils. Additionally, the university became a member of the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, in April 2019.
Established under the Karnavati Medical & Educational Trust, Karnavati University aims to transition from versatility to super specialty.

The Trust operates five colleges: Unitedworld Institute of Design, Unitedworld School of Business, Unitedworld School of Liberal Arts & Mass Communication, Unitedworld School of Law, and Karnavati School of Dentistry.
