International Institute Of Fashion Technology was established in 1990 by the country’s leading fashion technologist, Ratnadeep Lal, who himself has vast experience in the field of fashion in India, Europe, and America. A graduate from the prestigious fashion school of Europe, London College of Fashion, Mr. Lal, with over 32 years of experience, an educationalist with a sharp eye in the field of fashion technology, has given IIFT a prime position in fashion education. Now at IIFT, we not only train Indian students but also students from Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Mauritius, and other African countries. IIFT, besides dealing in fashion education, also involves consultancy services aimed for manufacturers and exporters in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the African subcontinent. The consultancy work in the Middle East, Nepal, Mauritius, U.K., and France is worth mentioning. Various projects for various government, semi-government, and multinational companies are also undertaken from time to time. IIFT also organizes various international events involving Bollywood, beauty contests, fashion shows, etc., from time to time. Various projects for embassies of prominent countries like Switzerland, France, Nepal, Egypt, Mauritius, and the Middle East are also undertaken by IIFT. Trained professionals of IIFT are working in almost all leading export houses and manufacturing concerns of India. The credibility of IIFT is evident through print media where over 20,000 articles have been published so far in leading newspapers, magazines, etc., in India and abroad.
