Guru Nanak College for women ,Charan Kanwal Banga was established in 1969,on the occasion of quincentenary year of Guru Nanak Dev ji.It follows the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Who emphasized the role and importance of women in society by saying “How can a women be degraded who gives birth to kings?” College is situated on Phagwara-Nawanshahar road.
