DeSL upgrades its information security management framework to meet the latest ISO/IEC 27001:2022 requirements, reinforcing data protection for fashion and retail technology users.

Discover e-Solutions (DeSL), a provider of AI-enabled Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and digital transformation software for the fashion, apparel, footwear and retail sectors, has confirmed that its information security management system (ISMS) has been updated to comply with the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard.

Issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), ISO/IEC 27001 sets out globally accepted guidelines for establishing, maintaining and continuously improving information security management practices. Compliance with the 2022 revision indicates that DeSL has reviewed and strengthened its internal security policies, operational procedures and technical controls to address evolving cyber risks and regulatory requirements.

For customers, the updated certification provides third-party assurance that sensitive product data, supplier records and operational workflows are safeguarded under internationally recognised security frameworks. This is particularly relevant for brands operating complex supply chains, working with multiple partners and navigating stricter data protection regulations.

Commenting on the development, Colin Marks, Chief Executive Officer of DeSL, said the transition to the latest ISO/IEC 27001 standard reflects the company’s continued focus on data protection. He noted that DeSL has maintained certification for several years and that the update demonstrates its approach to embedding information and cyber security into platform design, daily operations and ongoing improvement processes.

The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification supports DeSL’s role as a technology partner for businesses pursuing digital transformation. Alongside its AI-driven PLM platform, the company offers modular digital tools for planning, supplier management, quality assurance, product information management (PIM) and sustainability reporting, enabling organisations to modernise operations while maintaining security and compliance.

The certification covers the systems, processes and controls used to deliver DeSL’s cloud-based software services and highlights the company’s focus on governance, risk management and customer confidence. Additional details and product information are available at www.desl.net.
