DENIOS Accelerates Global Omnichannel Growth with Centric PXM

Centric Software®, which provides AI-powered enterprise solutions for product lifecycle management and digital transformation, has released a success story outlining how DENIOS has scaled its operations using Centric PXM™. The platform supports functions including planning, design, sourcing, compliance, pricing and distribution across industries such as fashion, consumer goods, electronics and retail.

Established in 1986 and headquartered in Bad Oeynhausen, Germany, DENIOS offers a wide portfolio of catalog products along with custom-engineered safety solutions. The company operates in 22 countries through 19 subsidiaries and serves sectors including chemicals, logistics, pharmaceuticals, automotive and industrial markets via a multilingual B2B e-commerce platform, printed catalogs and procurement systems.

As demand increased, DENIOS faced limitations with its legacy Product Information Management (PIM) system introduced in 2006. The system, which had been extensively customized, became difficult to maintain and lacked the capability to support omnichannel operations. “If we made an update, the entire system would blow up in our face,” recalls Kai Peperkorn, Team Lead Data Excellence at DENIOS. Disconnected workflows and rigid data structures also slowed content creation and localization processes.

After evaluating more than 170 defined requirements, DENIOS selected Centric PXM™, an AI-powered solution combining PIM, Digital Asset Management (DAM), content syndication and Digital Shelf Analytics (DSA). The platform was implemented to centralize product data, automate workflows and support expansion into global markets.

The transition involved redesigning the company’s attribute model, integrating with SAP systems and migrating its asset library. Supporting over 15 languages, the platform enables faster localization while reducing time and cost associated with entering new markets. Centric PXM now functions as a centralized system for managing product data across e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, catalogs and enterprise storefronts.

Fabrice Canonge, CEO of Centric Software, says, “We are proud to support DENIOS in its mission to deliver safety innovation at scale. Centric PXM empowers global brands to transform how they manage, enrich and deliver product content. We look forward to continuing this successful partnership.”
