Denim PV SS27 Highlights Innovation, Creativity and Sustainability

Denim Première Vision returns to Milan with a forward-looking SS27 edition, uniting global designers, innovators, and material pioneers to shape the future of responsible denim.
Denim Première Vision is set to return to Milan’s Superstudio Più on November 26–27, 2025, unveiling its Spring–Summer 2027 edition with a renewed focus on innovation, creativity, and the industry’s ongoing transition toward responsible design. Long recognized as a global meeting point for the denim value chain, the show continues to function as a forward-looking creative laboratory—bringing together leading brands, young designers, and pioneering material innovators to shape the next chapter of denim.
This year’s edition invites visitors into a future-driven exploration of denim culture, featuring a curated lineup of international exhibitors, exclusive collaborative projects, and a comprehensive program of talks and trend analyses.
Among the most anticipated voices at the show is trend forecaster Amy Leverton, founder of Denim Dudes, who will present her inclusive and sustainability-driven perspective. Leverton, known for her work with Levi’s, GAP, and H&M, remains one of the industry’s most influential interpreters of denim culture.
Another highlight is S|STYLE – DENIM LAB powered by KERING, a guest project backed by the Kering Material Innovation Lab (MIL). Curated by Giorgia Cantarini, S|STYLE showcases the work of emerging designers committed to sustainable creation, with eight rising talents presenting innovative concepts supported by MIL.
Creative directors Lisi Herrebrugh and Rushemy Botter of G-STAR will also take the stage, offering their visionary perspective on what it means to design for the future—where cultural insight, experimentation, and social engagement converge.
The show features strong creative direction within its own programming as well. Kristian Guerra, Head Designer at 44 Level Group, has conceptualized the Denim Forum, and will share his experimental interpretation of contemporary denim in a dedicated talk.
Sustainability and material innovation take center stage across the exhibition floor, with advancements ranging from cacao fiber textiles by Doors, bio-based dyes from Chloris Biochem, Emily Gubbay’s circular color system, and Calik’s zero-water dyeing method. Exhibitors such as Geocot, Stylem Takisada, Caitac, and ISKO reinforce the growing emphasis on responsible luxury through high-end, durable fabric innovations.
More than 65 international exhibitors will participate in the SS27 showcase, including a diverse mix of weavers (60%), garment makers (20%), accessory specialists (6%), and chemical producers (5%), creating a complete overview of the denim supply chain.
