Denim Première Vision is set to return to Milan at Superstudio Più on May 20–21, 2026, marking its 9th edition in the city. Held under the patronage of the Municipality of Milan, the event will spotlight Autumn/Winter 2027–28 trends while reinforcing its role as a global hub for the denim industry. The show will host more than 60 premium exhibitors, with strong participation from Italy and Japan, alongside strategic collaborations with Istituto Marangoni and the CBI.
Expanding Business Landscape and Exhibitor Base
This edition introduces a refreshed exhibitor lineup, with 10% new participants and the return of key global players such as Cone Denim and Arvind Limited. The sourcing offer is further broadened with the debut of Jawaid Bross, enhancing the event’s comprehensive coverage of the supply chain. The exhibitor mix includes 60% denim mills, 20% garment manufacturers, and 20% accessories, technology, and service providers.
Focus on Education and Emerging Talent
The event continues to emphasize knowledge-sharing and talent development through its collaboration with Istituto Marangoni. Selected exhibitors—including Isko Luxury by PG, Advance Denim, Officina39, and Tonello—will conduct technical sessions within the institution.
Students will present their creative work at the center of the exhibition, while on May 21, Lolie Bernard will share her concept, "What if this was enough?", reflecting on authenticity and emotional depth in design.
Driving Circular Economy Initiatives
Sustainability remains a core focus, highlighted by a partnership with CBI. The “Circular Apparel Tunisia” initiative will showcase how 18 Tunisian companies are transitioning toward circular production models aligned with European standards, reinforcing the industry's shift toward responsible practices.
Innovations in Sustainable Dyeing
A key highlight is the “Redefining Blue” initiative, developed in collaboration with Chloris. The project will present advancements in Claessen Blue, a bio-based dye solution, along with initial research and validation results.
This initiative brings together leading denim mills to accelerate the adoption of sustainable dyeing technologies. Li Li will present findings from the project during a panel discussion alongside Fabio Adami Dalla Val, moderated by Maria Cristina Pavarini.
Honoring a Denim Pioneer
A special tribute will be dedicated to Adriano Goldschmied, with Pioneer Denim and Soko presenting three collections he developed. These works highlight his enduring influence on sustainable denim innovation and craftsmanship.
Exploring Future Denim Trends
The Denim Trends Forum will provide insights into the Autumn/Winter 2027–28 season, showcasing innovations in materials, processes, and craftsmanship. The forum serves as both an inspiration and a practical resource, offering a forward-looking perspective on how denim continues to evolve as a creative and technical medium.
Underrated Project: A New Design Perspective
The “Underrated Project (Chapter 2),” created in collaboration with Kristian Guerra, the Denim PV Fashion Team, and exhibitors, explores a modern denim wardrobe that merges heritage with futuristic design. By combining denim with technical fabrics, the project introduces hybrid silhouettes that balance functionality and style, reflecting contemporary urban lifestyles.
