Cotton exports, production & consumption to rise

India's cotton exports, production as well as domestic consumption are expected to see an upward trend in the coming months. The country is likely to produce 29.50 million 480 lb bales of cotton and export 6 million 480 lb bales in marketing year (MY) 2021-22. Total domestic consumption of India will reach 25.50 million 480 lb bales this year.
